For people with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Who We Are

The Arc of Tucson is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving persons with developmental disabilities in Pima County, Arizona.

Our Mission

Our mission is to open the community for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We are committed to speaking up for their rights and educating the public about the value that persons with disabilities bring to our society. Our vision is to create a future where all people have equal choices about where and how they live, learn, work and play.

Recent Passing of Bob Ballard

Longtime Arc volunteer and member Bob Ballard  recently passed away and his family has designated The Arc of Tucson as beneficiary of memorials in Bob's name.
For those who did not know Bob, he regularly managed our Homewares Center which distributes goods to persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.  We could never have maintained the center without his assistance these many years. He always displayed a courteous, respectful demeanor and genuine support for the mission of the center , going to extra lengths to get his acquaintances and family to donate goods for the recipients, and helping with special tasks upon request. We will always cherish our friendship with Bob and miss his presence in our lives.

The family requests that memorials in Bob's name be sent to  The Arc of Tucson, P.O. Box 44324  Tucson, AZ  85733.
